N-Acetylneuraminic Acid(sialic acid) is a carbohydrate that exists widely in nature, and it is also the basic component of many glycoproteins,glycopeptides and glycolipids.
Production process: The enzyme-catalyzed reaction of N-acetyl glucosamine was adopted into enzyme-membrane reactor to synthesize sialic acid.
