Chlorophyll is a natural green pigment which is extracted from natural green plants mulberry leaf. Sodium copper chlorophyllin is stabilized chlorophyll, which is prepared from chlorophyll by saponification and replacement of magnesium atom with copper and sodium.It is dark green to blue black powder,easily soluble in water but slightly soluble in alcohol and chloroform, with transparent jade green water solution without sediment.
Colorant:
Sodium Copper Chlorophyllin is highly soluble in water and can be used to impart vivid green color in dietary supplements (tablets/capsules), citrus-based dry beverage mixes, and personal care products.
Application
1)As food stuff colorant: Widely used in cakes, beverage, candy, ice cream etc.
2) As chemical raw material for daily use: Widely used in many kinds of green toothpastes and cosmetics.
