Function

1.Genistein is a strong antioxidant. Genistein removes damaging free
radicals and reduces lipid peroxidation.
2.Genistein increases the activity of other antioxidant enzymes such as
glutathione peroxidase, superoxide dismutase and glutathione reductase.
3.Genistein seems to inhibit the activity of tyrosine kinase,which plays
an important role in cell growth.
