Product Description

Silybum marianum is an annual or biennial plant of the Asteraceae family. This fairly typical thistle has red to purple flowers and shiny pale green leaves with white veins. Originally a native of Southern Europe through to Asia, it is now found throughout the world. Several scientific studies suggest that substances in milk thistle (especially a flavonoid called silymarin) protect the liver from toxins. Silymarin has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, and it may help the liver repair itself by growing new cells.

Function
This product is a clear and stable to protect the role of the liver cell membrane for the tréatment of acute and chronic hepatitis, cirrhosis, liver poisoning and disease. Patients with symptoms of hepatitis, liver function were significantly improved. 
1) Hepatoprotective effects: Silymarin for Liver, the main active ingredient, with regeneration, can stimulate the formation of new liver cells and improve liver function; both liver cell membrane protection, prevention of liver infiltrating cytotoxic cells, and improve the membrane structure defects ability to recover. 
2) Anti-oxidation: Silymarin phenolic hydroxyl hydrogen atoms while providing a strong antioxidant activity. They have free radical scavenging properties, anti-lipid peroxidation activity. 
3) Hypolipidemic: silibinin inhibits adult rat cardiac cell plasma membrane Ca2 + channels, inhibit food-induced high blood cholesterol, lower very low density lipoprotein (VLDL) and low-density lipoprotein (LDL), increased high - density lipoprotein (HDL), can be used for the tréatment of cardiovascular diseases.
